Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Creating and innovating with software prototypes for customer demos and showcases. Sat at a computer writing code on a day-to-day basis.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Often involved in projects that had a company-wide effect (e.g. working on internal tools) and projects that impacted customers. So yes there was a fair amount of responsibility.
