Marketing Data Analyst Review

As an Intern my role focuses on data analysis and reporting to support marketing campaigns and business performance. Daily, I respond to requests for campaign data and provide insights that help measure the success of campaigns. I use Microsoft SQL to extract and analyse data, ensuring stakeholders have accurate information to support decision-making.
I am also responsible for producing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI reports and dashboards. These reports track key metrics such as campaign performance, I work closely with colleagues to understand reporting requirements, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that help optimise recruitment marketing activity.

Yes, I was responsible to maintaining the Power BI dashboards to provide accurate and up to date figures to senior stakeholders.

I have developed both new and existing skills, particularly in data analysis and reporting. I have developed my SQL skills by extracting, manipulating, and analysing data to support campaign performance reporting and answer stakeholder requests. I have also enhanced my Power BI expertise by creating, maintaining, and improving dashboards that track campaign success.
In addition, I have strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills by interpreting large datasets, identifying trends, and providing insights that support business decisions. Working with stakeholders has helped me develop my communication skills, enabling me to present data in a clear and meaningful way to different audiences.
