Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role was as a 180 consultant. I assisted the desk as well as bringing on my own candidates. My daily responsibilities included registering candidates, advertising jobs, ensuring candidates were compliant, organising interviews and interview prep.

I was given a lot of responsibility within my first month and given a variety of tasks to do

I'm better at using Technology and my excel skills have improved significantly. My interpersonal skills have also been developed via meeting new people and taking calls daily

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Initially, I received more guidance but unfortunately due to management changes soon into my internship, I felt that guidance and support was more limited for the majority of my placement. This meant I lacked clear guidance for a long time before my manager was replaced.

Company culture was generally positive but felt a bit negative at times when the company was struggling more.

I enjoyed it and felt it has given me a lot of tools moving forward in my future career. Unfortunately, I feel like my role was slightly different to what was explained to me initially. This meant I may not be leaving with skills I thought the role would more align with
