Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Daily works involve helping analysts with live deal works, contribution to pitch decks, comps etc; internal documentation and announcements, e.g. deal closing memos; long term projects involve liquidity analysis
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, there was ample opportunities to take on responsibility during the internship, especially that all people within the team were very very friendly and generous in providing help and instructions, which was very helpful when I’m doing some tasks for the first time.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Yes, there was ample opportunities for on the job learnings, including creating pitching materials, internal database etc; also there was regular teach in sessions from other division for us to learn about other products within the firm, e.g. regular M&A teach-ins every week; also the long term projects has allowed me to practice and develop my skills on dealing with large datasets and derive reasonable conclusions

The support and guidance received is definitely unmatched by any other experiences - everyone was very open to provide help and support, I’ve received abundant suggestions and advice throughout the internship, all of those suggestions and guidance are super helpful
