Compling data and sending daily reports on accounts for senior management. Helping the team with current projects and working on presentations and excel.

Yes - I sent out daily reports to senior management which were of high pirority at the time.

New skills learnt - how to commuinicate with those on my team in corporate environments, new knowledge about the banking sector and especially payment systems like SWIFt and the new ISO20022.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Huge amount - everyone on the team made it clear I could reach out to them for help whenever and my manager checked in on me regulary. HR also kept in touch to ensure we were doing ok.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Really nice - I loved the company culture at Citi. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Everyone was happy to help and willing to chat to me about life at Citi and their own experiences. Good work life balance too.

What advice would you give to others applying to Citi
Research the company a little before the interview so you know what things about Citi are applying to you. Be willing to do plenty of team work and learn on the job. It might be slow moving at the start but it will pick up especially coming close to your final presentation.
