Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Project engineering assistant: I primarily spent my time using SOLIDWORKS designing, modelling and producing engineering drawings for various projects. My role could vary in scope from producing a CAD model of an existing part to designing something new to go into the factory.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I was able to get on with real, meaningful work that I could make my own decisions on.

As much as I asked for/needed. I was very free to get on with my job and anything I needed support with I could very easily get come.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Overall I would say I enjoyed it and found it valuable but the work is given as it comes so there were definitely slower and more boring times.
