Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was involved in assisting the managers complete the audit work. I would work on different areas of the financial statements, performing different tests to ensure that the client has correctly recorded their income and expenses.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, initially I was assisting my seniors as I had just started. After a couple of months, I was fully responsible for my work.

Yes, I have learnt so much about audit. I have also learnt valuable technical skills such as Excel skills. I have also developed my soft skills and have become more confident in talking to new people and working with people from different backgrounds.
