Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I worked as a Sales Account Manager managing a portfolio of business customers across a range of technology solutions including hardware, software licensing, cloud services, and cybersecurity. I managed and grew a portfolio of B2B accounts, developing long-term customer relationships through regular engagement, needs analysis, and tailored technology solution proposals.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I had complete responsibility over my account book and managed them in the best way I saw fit.

I had as much support as I needed. I had weekly 1-2-1's with my direct report but everyone within the business is willing to give you as much time as they can to help me with anything that I could need.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
