The role assists the current Capital Manager to allocate, track and forecast capital spend across the business unit. Day to day report, spend, uphold the integrity and operational capability of our processes.

I was given responsibility from day 1. The work I completed added real value to the company.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I was allocated a buddy/mentor throughout my placement, who I had regular meetings with to discuss a whole manner of topics. I had specific 1 to 1s with my direct line manager for an hour every other week. On top of this, the culture here allows colleagues to help one an other at any given opportunity.

Live close to the site you work at and try to come into the office as often as possible. Building relationships here will open many different opportunities for the future.
