Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is coordination based, i had responsibilities looking through peoples calednars and finding times for certain meetings to take place, i also took notes on these calls and made sure to send them out to the audience after they happened.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The apprenticeship is excellent, there is a lot of support with it if you ever need help and the work is not overloading. I am really enjoying where i am as of now.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, i have developed a number of key skills since starting, such as: Communication, Teamwork, Time-management and more. I have strongly developed since starting my apprenticeship.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well, we have time booked out weekly where we focus on our apprenticeship modules. We are ot expected to be working during these hours and they are soley for apprenticeship purposes.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot of support, whenevr i need it. There is always someone available to talk to if you are ever stuck- its really supportive and it makes you feel very comfortable.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot- we have calls every month about progress and any support i may need going forward, and we are always able to reach out t them whenever we need to (if we need help on a module etc...)
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Extremely, i am learning so many important skills that can be carried across to my role every time i do a module. Its really helpful and informative.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

My work has so many extra-curricular activities and also a lot of groups you can join aswell. E.g. The green team and many more rewarding activities to get involved in

I would 100% reccomend Sotcat to my friends and Family. It is a brilliant place to work, coming down to the culture and people. Aswell as the support you can gain while working there. It really is amazing how much they care for their employees.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Softcat?
You should just read up on the company from the website. Knowing how the business is run and how it works is imperative, making sure to show that knowledge is very important when trying to secure a position here.
