I am currently apprentice plumber. Some of the responsibilities that I have day-to-day include, first fixing, second fixing etc.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

A lot. I feel very supported and engaged.

I feel more confident first fixing and I believe this has helped me prosper in my apprenticeship this far.

Very. There’s a lot of support.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot. I feel a lot of support both in my team management providers and tutors.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received a lot of support. Personally, I do suffer from dyslexia and when I opened up to my College about this, they offered me support. This gives me the confidence to do my coursework portfolio and exams effectively.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe that Choice training will help me finish and pass my apprenticeship for example I haven’t sold any exams this far in.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes. We have apprenticeship meeting sometimes and we will all get together and do fun activities but go to battle and network with each other.

Why?
Because it’s a good company to work for for example, they helped me get my tools when I first joined. I always have parts to do and I’m never just left. I feel like I have a lot of support from my supervisors.
