Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Saving information and files onto our systems, e.g. iTrent and OneFile.
Editing / formatting spreadsheets for data analysis.
Managing distribution of eye care vouchers.
Other basic admin jobs to help out around the office.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Everyone was always very friendly and supportive. The work never felt overwhelming or undoable. Even when I was given tasks that was outside my comfort zone, I was supported every step of the way to help me when I was unsure of the next step.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. One of the main skills ive learnt is about web accessible. Before starting my project to update our webpages, I had never paid much attention to accessibility but now I've taken on the things I've learnt and apply them in other situations to make what I produce more accessible, such as letters and training notes.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very structures and thoroughly communicate. I was given an overview of my training at the start and had regular 10 week reviews of my progress.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

Very supported. For example, I was struggling with delays to my project but my manager stepped in to help me.
