Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is to maintain the master data of the business including supplier information etc. I also look after the debtors ledger, making sure all not retail receivables are collected and accounted for. My day can go from onboarding new suppliers to sending invoices to customers.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme very much so. It allows me to have social interactions and work along great people who i learn off. Almost every time i step foot in the office i learn something new.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Since starting the programme i have tremendously improved my skills all round. I am now confident in communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, my excel skills are very advanced for my age/level. I have gained a deep understanding of finance and will continue to develop my skills further.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well structured with weekly lectures and quarterly reviews. sometimes communication can lack but not often.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I am surrounded by people who are eager to help and i am also given time to revise and learn.

While my role and the qualification don't exactly align it gives me a better understanding of the business and why i do what i do.
