Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Working in the group income analysis team to analyse the groups revenue and income using past records, make forecasts by building on current trends and do regular reflections to align the company's goals and purpose.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes. Aside working in a team on a daily basis, we had lots of learn and build sessions including CV preparation, hybrid working, online presentation and the likes. We also had break and learn sessions where we met people from different departments of the company to share their experiences with us.

It felt very welcomed from day one. Aside being proactive in meeting people, I met a lot of colleagues reaching out to provide their support whenever I needed it. I felt valued and empowered.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very inclusive, room to experiment and work in a team. I felt the team spirit and embracing of differences. I felt safe to express my opinion when there's a need make a change

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I wished I could stay longer. I felt like I was part of the Lloyds family. We had a lot of socials where I got to know more colleagues on a personal level and I am still in contact with them
