Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

4/5
Completing work on the areas assigned to me on the audit, and supporting juniors with their work.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

3/5
Most days are enjoyable, helped by working within a good team, however some days can be dull.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
Serious improvement to time management - being responsible for so much at the same time means you need to be time efficient to complete all work

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

4/5
Very well structured, clear guidelines over college and exams / work

How much support do you receive from your employer?

3/5
In terms of support towards exams / apprenticeship there is definitely room for improvement ie slow communication from relevant help team, and often giving incorrect help
In terms of support in work it is very good, always have seniors / AMs / managers to help with issues

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

3/5
When in person I feel it is very good, much easier to ask questions / clarify things
When online it just feels like they are reading straight from textbook
Hard to get in contact with them when revising after the course, but before exam

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

2/5
I feel like there has been very little that has translated over from AAT qualifications into my role

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

4/5
Yes there are lots of opportunities - something for everyone
Not very social amongst teams in the office though - lots just keep to themselves
