Overall, how would you describe your experience at Forvis Mazars?
I have had a wholly positive experience at Forvis Mazars, enjoying the work, the environment, the studying, and the people I work with
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
The main responsibilities of the role are to split time between day-to-day office work auditing a variety of companies as well as studying for the ACA. My favourite elements of the role are the professional relationships you build between you and the client and in your team, as well as the variety of areas you can work on in an audit.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Lots of variety, and as long as you put yourself out there you will be presented with a good amount of responsibility.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

Good perks, including time off to study alongside usual annual leave. Good opportunity for growth in salary as you rise the ranks, though starting first year salary feels a tad low
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

This role is very good to further my career. I am gaining valuable experience and connections, as well as studying to become a chartered accountant which opens many doors once achieved
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

Good development of skills, consistent feedback is given as I work. The responsibility I am given early on helps with professional development and resilience, and the team is always very keen to help and guide if I have any questions, especially more technical ones

Very good support. A buddy, a people manager, and all the team including the senior members of the team are very approachable and keen to support me.

Work-life balance takes some effort. The work can very quickly get busy, but the perks and support help provide some levity

Fantastic atmosphere and culture. The people really make the firm what it is. Friendly, helpful, hard-working, and genuinely a joy to go into the office to be around my colleagues.
