Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I deal with Alerts, Onboardings and other tickets raised by customers, this can vary from high CPU to patch management. Onboards are mainly to sort the monitoring through LogicMonitor and a patching setup through Datto RMM.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

So far, the apprenticeship has been a great addition to my normal role in the business and is guiding me in a way that I feel I would not be able to on my own. This is thanks to the support and material I am being provided.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

It is still early days, but I am already learning more about Aglie and starting the greater path of Python. So yes, I feel some new skills have been learned.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

We have a well-defined structure laid out in front of us, and we know what to expect. Even if something unexpected occurs on the day of study, the material is thoroughly organized, allowing us to go through it independently. We can also access any additional learning materials requested by our employer.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have said this to them. They actually make it where the saying "there's no such thing as a dumb question" is correct. I feel like I can approach them about anything I am struggling with to do with the subject, and get an answer relatively quickly. When first starting, the new sites for uploading content and dealing with the signup were all new to me, and I could ask any questions openly without feeling like I was making the wrong decision.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The content provided during training is more than enough to get me through what is required for the hand-ins and more. When it comes to sitting an exam, I am sure that again if there are any questions I will be able to ask them and get the needed answers and even be pointed to some content.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Again, this is still early days, but I have noticed that I am seeing the role more differently, and others and I are pointing out things that we are learning and seeing in the business.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is a football team set up, and events do pop up for apprentices throughout the year. I feel like there could be a few more in terms of networking events, but that is to be discussed.

Would you recommend ANS Group to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I already have, it's a place that is great to get your foot in the door. If you put the work in, you reap the benefits. The material provided is much more than what you would get at College or university, and that's after going to both.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to ANS Group?
Be ready for the work as you will be given it, but in the long run, you will get the experience you need in the workplace, and then you will decide where to go from there.
