Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Over the 4 day insight week, I got a deep insight in the culture, values, departments, roles and job specifications of Natwest group, such as details on different internship and graduate roles. Colleagues of the group answered questions in detail which helped participants understand more about day to day tasks of their roles.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I gained a deeper insight into the roles of Natwest group, its culture and values and the commercial banking industry as a whole. It allowed me to understand more what Natwest group looks for in applicants and the importance of developing a relationship with customers, which is important in a relationship bank like Natwest.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I strengthened networking, communication and organizational skills, especially through working on the diversity and inclusion presentation with my group as a task throughout the insight week We leveraged different views and practiced our presentation to prepare for the presentation, and it was a valuable experience.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture is highly related to diversity and inclusion, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff and colleagues are very nice and friendly and answered any questions very thoroughly and patiently.
