Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is a trainee accountant. I typically support the preparation of accounts and help keep accurate financial records for our clients. My day to day consists of emailing clients, preparing accounts, sanity checking documents and also the occasional phone call with a client.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Personally, I really enjoy the apprenticeship programme. I think it is a great way to get some real work experience while also working towards a degree/qualification. Unlike university, I get to make money and get a degree.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Because I had zero previous accounting experience, I've learned and refined a lot of new skills. My ability to compose emails and speak formally to clients has certainly improved and the ability to notice patterns/mistakes in more detail has definitely become a lot easier.

Why?
I think that a company is only as good as its employees/employers and I think that's what makes Maslins so great. Everyone is so lovely and supportive that it just genuinely just makes it a nice place to work. Everyone at maslins is different and it creates a really nice dynamic.
