Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We had a number of different zoom calls each day which were aimed at different things. These included sessions on: transferrable skill building, group presentation work, networking, employee wellbeing, and information sessions on commercial banking and how it is structured in NatWest. We heard about the experiences of lots of different employees of NatWest, across lots of different teams, including graduates on their graduate programme. We were given many opportunities to ask questions too.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was extremely interesting to learn about NatWest's approach to Commercial Banking. In particular, to learn that they are now one of very few banks that work in the way that they do, as a 'relationship bank'. I came to appreciate that there are a huge number of potential roles within the company. I would have liked to learn a bit more about these roles and maybe had a 'case study' type of session.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Fantastic. Every speaker and presenter did such a good job of engaging us and making us feel at ease. We had a large number of sessions that focused on NatWest as a place to work and on the schemes they have put in place to ensure the company is committed to and provides the right support to all their employees.
