Supporting restaurants with training, onboarding and Employee Relations, ensuring our employees are happy within their roles and supporting development of employees.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Fairly new to the programme so still learning how everything works and looking at all the new information I will be learning about.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Will be learning a lot of new skills whilst also developing existing skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Great structure to the programme with lessons shared ahead of time so you know what you will be learning during each session. Along with planned reviews with your coach to see how things are going.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Employer encourages apprenticeship and provides support along the way.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Trainers are supportive throughout the sessions and are available to reach out to if you need additional support or have any questions. Also have regular review meetings scheduled to follow up on progress.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel this qualification will allow me to provide better support in my current role as I am learning more about Human Resources allowing me to become more effective.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are sometimes events in Summer and usually a Christmas event but not much else.

Why?
Great company to work for, some great benefits as well. When doing shift work it can fit in around your life. Get to work with a diverse workforce. giving you the chance to get different opinions and points of view from those you work with and learn more about other cultures.
Get to meet and make friends with some great people for life.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?
It's not always the easy job people assume it is, it can be hard work at times with lot's of different things happening at the same time and when running the store there are lots of different aspects to think about.
