Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

At Bellway, my role can vary on a daily basis depending on what projects the team is currently carrying out. However, the basis of my day involves running reports, pulling data, talking with stakeholders and booking in training sessions for Bellway colleagues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Since embarking on my apprenticeship with Bellway Homes, I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I have had the opportunity to work with external and internal stakeholders, refine my office and networking etiquette, as well as learn the basics of working successfully in an office environment.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Since starting with Bellway I have learned the basics administration skills, such as how to construct a perfect email and manage my calendar accordingly. Whilst also having the opportunity to develop new skills specific if to my role, most importantly how to effectively use Bellway Homes' Learning Management System, Kallidus.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

There is constant support from my line managers; as well as, the wider HR team. If I was ever in doubt they would be there to support me through any issues I may be undergoing.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is always on hand to assist if I am ever in doubt with regards to the topics I am learning within my classes, and the assignments I am completing. Overall, allowing me to perform and produce work to my highest possible standard.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I would argue that the qualification is laying the foundations for a long-term career here at Bellway, and it is interesting to put the theory I am learning in classes into practice on a weekly basis within certain situations within the office.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Bellway has a lot of exciting activities, that I cannot wait to get involved in as my career progresses her at Bellway. At this current time I have had the opportunity to get involved in a handful, with a highlight being the Graduation event that was held for some training graduates, where I was able to meet and network with colleagues across all of Bellway's divisions.

Why?
The team is extremely supportive, and the projects we work on our fun and motivating. Additionally, as a team we are able to work together collaboratively, but also have the opportunity to get to know each other better during our team days. Overall strengthening the quality of the work we produce.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bellway Homes?
I would encourage anyone to get involved and be themselves, Bellway is a very diverse organisation that makes everyone and idea feel included and valued.
