Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was involved with the feasibility checks of 66 kV and 132 kV. This mainly involved studying about the case of when we would need to move to 132 kV cables from the current industry standard cable - 66 kV.
Furthermore, I was involved with designing the most optimized array cable configuration for the Morven wind farm.

The responsibility was just right and was manageable but challenging enough to keep my brain working.

I learnt the basics of designing of a wind farm and checking the optimized design for a given wind farm.
I also learnt a little about the commercial impacts Wind energy has on the energy market.
