Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

The first year so far has seen me working within the service department of my dealership. This involves working to give customers the best and most efficient service possible, ensuring that have a smooth process from arriving at the dealership to leaving. This involves keeping customers updated on the phone, as well as getting paperwork prepared for the customer for their arrival.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I absolutely love working here. It is my first ever 9-5 and i could not have asked for a better team, experience and support group around me.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

There are so many skills I have gained. People skills and communication, independence and how to deal with responsibility and how to work effectively when balancing university and full time work. The list goes on!
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is amazing how well structured it is. Having set plans over the 4 year course. They have matched up my day to day work with the learning blocks at the university, meaning my day to day work reflects what I am studying. Giving me the best chance to take my degree back to my place of work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support offered is immense. I know if I ever need help or support I can get it straight away no matter what the issue is.

We have constant support and guidance throughout our training and studying, giving us the best chance we get can to succeed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have taken every part of my study into work. I study business management, people skills, understanding structure within and organisation and personal managerial qualities have highlighted and improved my work the most so far.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have taken part in social activities such as gatherings and meals at christmas time. As well ad attending professional networking and sales events outside of work.

You don't need to have a previous love of cars in order to love the motor trade! So keep an open mind.
