What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It gave a much clearer picture of how the firm operates as a commercial business, rather than just a collection of legal departments. Through presentations, workshops, and day‑to‑day work, it became clear how different practice areas work together to service clients, generate revenue, manage risk, and support long‑term strategy.

Yes
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Clyde & Co LLP
Do your research beyond the basics. Clyde & Co is known for its strength in insurance, shipping, energy, aviation, and global disputes, so showing awareness of its sector focus and international reach is really important. Try to link this to current commercial or legal developments rather than keeping it generic.
Clyde & Co values people who are authentic and self‑aware. Be honest about what motivates you and what you hope to gain from the role. Reflecting clearly on your experiences (rather than trying to impress) goes a long way.
