Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role during the programme revolved around assisting customers through technical issues and queried regarding our products. We also had 2 hours of time to study apprenticeship modules which lasted around 1 and a half years.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
While working on phones helping customers could be tiring, overall the programme greatly helped improve my communication skills while broadening my understanding of the financial sector. The time given to work on apprenticeship was also more than enough to finish all the work allocated and the base pay was good for an apprentice role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Both, while I learned how to better manage my workload and how to deal with facing customers, I also learned new skills such as how to apply for a mortgage.

Structure and Support

5/5
Structure set out at the start remained in place until end of programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Managers are always glad to help, are understanding, and the office environment overall was respectful and calm.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Trainer will always make it clear what is required for each module, and whenever needed, they are also available to answer emails.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The apprenticeship work help me understand what is required from me when dealing with customers, and how to work in a banking office environment.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Remunerated charity work days and special events are encouraged and often available.
