Continuous Improvement Specialist using DMAIC framework to conduct and complete projects by reviewing failure demand, waste, bottlenecks all done through process improvement
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Really enjoying the programme, insightful and giving me plenty of tools to assist me in being able to complete my job. My employer has made the process easy and has regular communication during my apprenticeship

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have both learnt new skills and developed existing skills through the first half of my apprenticeship, I have gained more confidence and I now have more tools to enable me to do my job to a higher standard

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

the programme has been shortened to 18 months so each module sessions feel like it covers a lot of ground but sometimes feels like it is missing bits of information
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Constant support on hand from my employer through line manager, ops manager and the apprenticeship community
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Can be hit and miss with response times to emails but will Respond and you can book 15 minute slots in with them when available
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training provided does give a solid foundation to be able to complete the role to a high standard, it helps me perform better by giving me structure for projects, stakeholder management, data collection and analaysis
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Get stuck in, take all the help and support available to you, reach out if your struggling, commit 100% and be ready for an intense but fun learning experiance and use the resources available to you and carry out your own learning and research
