Overall, my role is to work with a variety of different teams to create plans for different projects, help send comms out, create training materials, build up websites for each strategic product etc.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

This apprenticeship has really helped me apply the knowledge I was being taught at university into the workplace. I am also given enough time to balance both my work and university, which allows me to be stress-free and get everything done on time.

BT takes pride in its Early Career Network, and therefore often hold many events to get all the early career members together and networking with each other. This varies from professional events such as Hackathons, to chill events such as sports, socials (pub, bowling etc)

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BT Group to a friend?

Yes

Why?

BT Group understand that apprentices do not know everything, the whole purpose of the apprenticeship is to help us learn and apply the knowledge we have learnt at university in real life. They are also very supportive and ensure that we have enough time weekly to do our university work, and also ensure that workload isn't too much for us.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT Group?

Be yourself, show how you could add value to BT.
