Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On a day-to-day basis, I support the design process by contacting manufacturers for technical information, producing design drawings, and carrying out calculations to size different systems and components. I create schematics and develop designs from initial concepts through to coordinated 3D models, ensuring they are efficient, practical, and sustainable while meeting project requirements.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am learning everyday, the people around me are super supportive and everyone is there to help. the office space really does support our growth both creatively and professionally

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Every task i get i learn a new skill that directly links to what ill be doing day on my day to day, i can feel yourself becoming more and more of a crucial member of the team

The program is very well organised, every part of the course is thought about and documented. there is plenty of help if any questions arise.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer provides a lot of help from allowing my time to focus on my studies, to people in the company that have been through the course them selves for an in depth and deep understanding of the course for relevant and crucial help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Having meetings every 3 months is very useful, it allows to to asses how im doing ensuring im doing everything correctly to pass my exams and course
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

the qualification gives learning directly related to my role though lacks on certain parts of it with me being a public health engineer, the course is mechanical and electrical heavy and its not balanced
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there is a whole social portfolio team every team has to organise events and socials to bring the team closer together. we also have company organised activities weekly like climbing, tennis, badminton and many more for everyone to get involved in
