I am responsible for the organisation and auditing of highway works. I ensure contractual compliance and operational continuity.

Yes, since beginning my role I have been enrolled on a multitude of training courses outside of my apprenticeship, including, CDM training, first aid, health and safety training, CAD training. I am also consistently offered invites to attend talks from subject specialists.

Why?

I have felt nothing but support since starting my career development at WSCC and i constantly encouraged to improve myself and take any opportunity I can to do so. The organisations structured support for apprentices such as the mentor and buddy system allows for a smooth transition into studies.
