Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
This job role includes learning all the operational aspects of the business. It is split into 4 years and there is a clear progression path. In year 1 we work with the aftersales department and learn all the different sub-departments in aftersales. Then in year 2 we do sales and learn all the sub-departments in sales and then year 3 is all operational management and we work with the divisional management teams.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
The program is amazing. We have a brilliant talent team who continuously keep in contact with us and always support us. The group of apprentices are also amazing and we are all close with each other. At our dealerships we are well supported by the management teams and the divisional managers always talk with us to ask how they can help us progress, so I really enjoy it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
Customer service has been the skill I have developed the most. Because I am interacting with customers daily I have learnt how to communicate to them properly and how to engage in tough situations and make sure they are satisfied. My organisational skills have also improved since working at the business. Being able to try and plan ahead so I can be calm at work and make everything more stress free is an important skill to have, especially when wanting to become a manager.
