Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
My role is to support the organisation to utilise apprenticeships in their workforce planning and development plans. I am undertaking an apprenticeship alongside my role, as I strive to be a positive role model and utilise the skills, knowledge and behaviour to support my future growth.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
I thoroughly enjoy the programme, I am studying the Women in Leadership apprenticeship, which is based on the Level 5 Operations Manager.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
I am continuously learning and developing my existing skills as well as new ones, through shared practice and content delivered in the programme.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

5/5
I like the structure of my programme, where you complete e-learning initially, then attend a workshop to reinforce the learning, then embed this in my working practice. Being an online delivery model, makes the programme flexible and accessible.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5
My employer are 100% supportive, whether this is through exposure to stretch tasks, or pastoral support for example I recently had to take a break in learning and am now back on programme.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5
My learning coach is available whenever I need them and happy to support where they can.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
As I am looking to progress into management, being able to undertake a management qualification is helping me perform better and future proof my skills and knowledge.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

5/5
I am deputy chair of the neurodiversity staff network, as well as a member of the women in the workplace staff network. There are also a wide range of other staff networks available who offer support etc.
