Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role is a mixture of an engineer, manager and health supervisor, I would be in charge of other subcontractors, ensuring safety on site, witnessing and ensuring tests and building services were fit for purpose, I would work with my team to learn more and attend meeting as the building progressed
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The programme, or College is the weakest part so far as it feels like I do not learn anything from the College or assignments, as well as this I felt like knowledge was rarely transferable to site, while the teaching was not informative, however the site work was in depth and allowed me to gain more skills and knowledge

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learned skills about how operate and use BIM, I am more confident when discussing mechanical items and building services and how they operate, I am more skilled with working with others.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well organised and structured, however I do feel that sometimes I am not sure of what the next steps are.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
my employer have been more than supportive with me receiving support living in London and also providing help for health, both mental and physical.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
This has been discussed earlier, I feel like some support is offered, however that support is limited and rare
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are after work drinks sometimes, however I am not a drinker and often have other commitments, there are also meet ups with other members on other sites, which I arrange (Mainly with apprentices)
