Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
I work in the Family Law department so my day-to-day role varies. I mainly take new enquiry calls into the team, attend client meetings, draft legal documents, and attend court hearings. I work on a variety of cases ranging from divorce, finance and children matters.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
I am really enjoying the programme. It can be challenging but very rewarding. I enjoy how no two days are the same.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
Plenty. I have developed my communication skills, written skills, teamwork skills and many more.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

4/5
There were a few teething issues at the start but only because the programme was so new. Now, there is a clear structure for the apprenticeship.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5
I am very supported by my line manager, apprentice manager and team as a whole.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

4/5
I would say that the studies are quite independent, but we have live lectures and the ability to email our tutors if we need help with the programme.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

4/5
It definitely helps vary my legal knowledge, although there is no family law module so it is not 100% relevant to my role.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

5/5
Yes, I frequently get involved in professional networking events with work. There are also charity events, events for juniors, and sports teams if you are interested.
