Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role consisted of doing weekly reports and delegate counts on our training portal, keeping an eye on upcoming training courses, updating social media, answering the shared inbox, visiting venues & events and other admin tasks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have really enjoyed my time at Medway Council Public Health.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt lots of new skills, especially to do with IT, such as Microsoft Excel.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I love the structure of the apprenticeship. I find the OTJ Log and Ecordia easy to follow and enjoy working on them both.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have always had support from my manager, colleagues and apprenticeship assessor and always feel I can ask them questions whenever I need to.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We have monthly meetings which are really helpful, but she is only an email away if I ever need her for anything in between.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Working towards this qualification has helped me massively. I have secured a permanent position within another team of the same department and feel so grateful for the experience my apprenticeship has given me.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, lots! With my previous role I always had the opportunity to go out to different events and help out as well as lots of venue visits. I really enjoyed this side to the job and luckily with my new role I get to attend networking events as well as visit our partners. I am also helping to plan this year's annual event!
