I am currently in the corporate team so my everyday tasks include drafting documents, emailing clients, conducting research and project management work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love being in the corporate team at the moment as I love the transactional nature and the fast paced work.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt plenty of new skills including digital literacy, drafting skills, critical thinking, contextual awareness, public speaking, networking skills, and developed existing skills including attention to details.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well structure with my study day being one day a week.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive plenty of support from my employer from the early talent team, my supervisor and an apprentice buddy in first year.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My firm support us if we have an issue and there ae support mechanisms in place for when we need them.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I find the content does not overlap whatsoever and therefore it doesn't provide much to my day to day work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are plenty of networking events in my team and plenty of social events as a wider office including sports events and office socials.

I really enjoy working at Pinsent Masons, everybody is super welcoming kind and approachable. I find that I have learnt way more than I could have been imagined and feel encouraged to keep developing as much as possible.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Pinsent Masons LLP?
I would get to know the firm really well, what sectors they are involved in and what teams they have. I would look at their values and see if they closely link to your own values to see if you would enjoy working.
