I am a Corporate Sales Apprentice at Softcat, where I support customers with IT procurement and day‑to‑day account management. My role involves communicating with customers to understand their requirements, producing quotes, managing renewals, and providing updates on orders and deliveries.
I work closely with internal teams and specialist vendors to ensure customers receive the right solutions, while also handling administrative tasks such as updating CRM records and supporting the ordering process. Alongside this, I regularly complete training and vendor sessions to develop my technical knowledge and sales skills.

I’ve developed stronger communication and customer‑handling skills, particularly when gathering requirements and providing updates. I’ve also gained new skills around IT procurement and Microsoft licensing, while improving my organisation, time management, and confidence through day‑to‑day experience and regular training.
