Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
Answering phone queries, answering online queries, providing admin support, processing eyecare vouchers, handling probation paperwork, providing support to HR Consultants.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
It was an extremely positive learning experience to be able to complete an apprenticeship alongside getting real work experience alongside a fab team.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
I learnt a number of new skills, including good telephone practice, file-keeping, HR systems usage, letter-writing, and dealing with conflict.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

5/5
Everything was very straightforward to understand, and I was provided key deadlines. I could always call on a tutor for help, and was always supported to ensure I completed things when needed. The structure felt sensible and appropriate.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5
Medway Council endeavours to ensure you have adequate time to complete the apprenticeship alongside day-to-day work, and will create opportunities for you so that you can broaden your experience (and thus your portfolio for the course).

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5
You have an assigned tutor who will always be able to support you, and monthly meetings in order to ensure you are on the right track. I could always send them drafts of my learning material. The knowledge sessions were also frequent and well-structured.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
I have a much broader understanding of business and my role in it. It provides useful every day skills that I know I will be able to transfer elsewhere.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

5/5
There are a number of social events, clubs, and groups to get involved with.
