Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves supporting the development and maintenance of the banks systems while continuing to build my technical skills. On a day to day basis, I work closely with my team design and develop software solutions. I also run and attend team meetings, contribute to discussions and collaborate with my team to understand business requirements. Alongside this, I spend time learning new tools and technologies to grow in my role.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It gives me an opportunity to gain hands on experience, working as part of a team, developing my technical and professional skills and contributing to real projects which is meaningful to me. While there are some challenges like learning advanced technologies and balancing responsibilities, these help me grow further.

Yes, I have developed both new and existing skills. I strengthened my problem solving abilities by working on real projects. I have also developed my teamwork and communication through regular collaboration and meetings.

I receive support from manager and team who are very supportive in helping me with my day to day tasks and development. I also get advice support from early careers team who provide guidance throughout programme.

My training provider helps me stay on track with my learning. Overall support is helpful in guiding me through the programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification supports my development, but its impact on my day to day role is fairly limited. While it provides a general foundation and helps structure my learning, most of the skills I have learned in the workplace. That said, it still plays a role in supporting my overall knowledge and understanding in the field.

My main advice would be to be your authentic self. Everyone brings something different to the table, and the workplace is a very inclusive and supportive environment so you can focus on being yourself, doing your work well and growing both professionally and personally.
