Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves providing L&D support to several residential and nursing homes across the region. This includes; reactive and proactive planning, delivery and compliance monitoring.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying the programme at present as it is supporting me to gain further knowledge and skills appropriate to my role and in a practical manner.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I feel the programme is supporting me to learn lots of new skills and continue to develop within my role. I am particularly enjoying learning theories that underpin day-to-day practices as I feel this is allowing me to gain further tools to support me within my role.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I feel the structure of the programme suits my learning styles as it provides a mixture of theory and practical.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received lots of support from my employer from pre-registration to where I am currently. In addition, we have several team members on programme at the same time which encourages an additional support network.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My skills coach is very supportive and has regular catch ups planned - as well as being responsive to contact.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As I am currently still on programme, I am continuing to work through this however I feel I have a greater overall awareness of my organisation, department and role, as well as increased confidence towards tasks.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
