Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Avery Healthcare Group?
Good
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Senior carer - Loved the role but wanted to progress further.
Team leader - Again loved the role but had more ambition to progress.
Trainer - Whilst being in the team leader role I was also the trainer for the home I enjoyed both.
Deputy manager - Completed my level 5 in leadership and management, again loved this role and continued to be the home trainer alongside.
Home trainer - stepped down from deputy when I had my son and returned as just the home trainer.
The company then got rid of the home trainer role and it was interview for learning and development facilitator or have any role available in the home at the time. I interviewed for learning and development facilitator and got the role, I am happy in this role.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
3/5
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
3/5
There are lots of perks and benefits however I do not use any of them as never have a need to, or they do not cater for what I need.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?
5/5
I am not entirely sure what I want to do in the future. My line manager is very helpful and supportive and encourages progression, I am currently completing my level 5 in L&D consultancy.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
3/5
I have been a trainer for 10 years now so I do not feel I am developing new skills through my day to day role. I am however learning through completing the level 5 in the subject.

Experience & Company Culture

How is the support you receive?
5/5
I have given a 5 rating for my line manager as she is continually supportive and helps/guides wherever she can.
How is your work-life balance?
3/5
I take my work home a lot of the time due to not having enough hours in the day to complete any admin. Completing training plans I will do in my own time, chasing team members to complete their E-learning I will do in my own time.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?
3/5
