How much support do you receive from your employer?

I feel well supported by my manager, who is always available to offer guidance when needed. I’m confident that if I have questions or feel unsure, I can ask and receive the support I need.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I am about to start my qualification, my line manager has put in place a plan for support throughout my learning and I feel reassured if I need extra support this will be available also.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I haven’t started my apprenticeship yet, but I recognise that gaining new knowledge and skills will be valuable in helping me perform more effectively in my role. I’m looking forward to developing my understanding and applying this in practice.
I have completed previously NVQ 3 of which brought me a better understanding and knowledge in my role at the time.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Not that I am aware of at present other than Christmas of which was a social event.

Yes, I would absolutely recommend Avery Healthcare Group. I genuinely enjoy my role and feel surrounded by caring, supportive people who are always willing to share their knowledge. There are great opportunities to learn, develop, and progress across all roles. Most importantly, I go to work each day wanting to make a difference, whether big or small, for both the team and the residents.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Avery Healthcare Group?
Be yourself and show that you genuinely care!
Remember compassion and attitude matter just as much as skills.
Be open to learning, as there’s so much knowledge around you and people who are willing to support you. Most importantly, come in with the mindset of wanting to make a difference every day, because even the smallest actions can have a big impact on both residents and your team.
