3.4 /5
The Overall Rating is the average of all the ratings given in each category. We take those individual ratings and combine them into one final score!
Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
The role is fast‑paced and requires a high level of accuracy and consistency, as the information produced directly supports decision‑making. While many of the core tasks are repetitive in nature, they are essential to maintaining reliable reporting and providing clear insight into ongoing performance.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
I believe the level of benefit gained from the programme largely depends on the individual’s approach and how proactive they are in making use of the opportunities presented, which I have tried to do. The overall experience of the apprenticeship can vary significantly depending on your specific role and home department. Some apprentices are exposed to a wider range of experiences and development opportunities than others, which can influence how much the programme is enjoyed.
This variation plays a considerable part in shaping individual experiences. While I have enjoyed the programme to a fair extent, there is clear room for improvement. At times, expectations and processes are not always communicated clearly, and stronger communication and structure could enhance the overall experience. With improvements in these areas, I believe the programme could be more consistent and beneficial for all apprentices.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
How much support do you receive from your employer?
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
There is also very little recognition or incentive for apprentices who do take the initiative to lead or support these activities, which contributes to dissatisfaction and a lack of motivation to get involved. There is clear potential for more initiatives and events to be introduced, but at present there seems to be minimal focus on developing this area or encouraging meaningful engagement.
