Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My main daily/weekly duties consisted of performance tracking and communicating this with the channel owners. The rest of my day would be completing ad hoc tasks such as carrying out ad hoc tasks such as process automation, data analysis on a particular model, competitor analysis, ect.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was responsible for a lot of process automation for sales planning and by getting involved in tasks I was able to pick up more responsibility that my job role by getting involved in competitor analysis etc.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

My manager was very supportive during my placement. She supported my goals from placement by setting me tasks that could help me achieve these, and was always willing to help me if I was every stuck on a task. BMW also provided lots of training and support when we started.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

BMW is a very social culture. One of the main clubs on campus is coffee connect where you are paired up with a random colleague (any area, any business, any level) and go for a coffee with them to learn about new areas - networking is BMW culture!
