I act as a strategic catalyst, leading engineering teams to expand their technical capabilities and adopt emerging automation technologies. My day-to-day involves mentoring engineers to reach their full potential and streamlining workflows to ensure we are constantly unlocking new efficiencies. Ultimately, I bridge the gap between people and technology to build a modern, high-performing engineering culture.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have found the Level 7 Senior Leader apprenticeship to be an immensely rewarding experience, though it was undeniably one of the most demanding periods of my career. The challenge of balancing the academic rigor with my leadership responsibilities was significant. However, the programme has successfully sharpened my strategic focus and equipped me with a robust set of competencies that I now apply daily to drive our engineering strategy forward.

The apprenticeship modules have enabled me to master strategic visioning and horizon scanning, ensuring my automation roadmaps align with long-term corporate objectives. Additionally, the programme has built my financial literacy and risk mitigation capabilities, allowing me to justify engineering investments through the lens of commercial value and organisational impact.
