All completely new to me, having never worked in the construction industry before, learnt lots through peers.

What the job looks like differs a lot from other apprentices I know within the company, not much of a set structure within the company, more dependent on the team that you are working with.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots of support from internal team.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Not much communication on this part, besides the early careers team.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Only completed first year of the qualification- did not provide much on the job skill. Really useful being emersed on site from the beginning to gauge a competence on the construction environment.

Yes
Why?
Good experience- and the set up of the apprentice is good. Good social atmosphere and feel very welcome within the company.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAM?
Be confident- everyone here is approachable and what they're looking for is someone willing to put the work in
