We have over 6,000 employees working in Construction, Civil Engineering, Ground Engineering, Energy, Property Development, Facilities Management and Site Solutions.

Early Careers

BAM has a genuine commitment to developing our people and we have a dedicated Early Careers team who run a range of Apprenticeship programmes for both new apprentices to the business and the upskilling of existing employees. For the third year in a row, BAM are proud to be placed within the Top 100 Best Apprenticeship Employers to work for.

Our Apprenticeship Programmes

• Level 4 – 6 Technical Apprenticeships: Covering areas such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Services and Digital.
• Level 2 – 6 Specialist Apprenticeships: Including Level 2 trades, Level 3 Business Administration, Level 3 Data technician, Level 4 Data Analyst, Level 4 Corporate social responsibility, Level 4 Quality Practitioner, Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner, Level 3 Facilities Management, Level 5 Coaching, Level 7 Risk Management, Level 4 & Level 6 Building Services.
• Scotland Graduate Apprenticeships: Covering areas such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying.

Our Graduate Programme

• We offer a structured 2 year graduate development programme in a professional workplace environment, leading to appropriate chartered status. Graduates will have studied a relevant sector degree, for example: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying.

Our Undergraduate Programme

• Interested in a summer placement after a first year at university. We offer 6-12 Week Summer Placements from May-September
• Seeking a year-out industrial placement after completing year two or Looking for work with an industry employer during a sandwich course in year three. BAM offer Year Out Industrial Placements starting anytime between June-September
