Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have met some wonderful people throughout the internship.
It was tough and definitely an adjustment, but an incredible opportunity and insight into the investment banking environment.
The working environment is quite intense, and working long hours, with not much time for socialising outside of work is difficult to commit to.
However, for just two months it is definitely worth it to get a full taster of the job to give an informed decision on whether it is something that you would want to go into.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Deutsche Bank to a friend?
Yes
What advice would you give to others applying to Deutsche Bank
In applying, make sure to be friendly, they just want someone who is willing to learn and ask questions, not necessarily technical skills.
Have questions for the interviewer even if not very complex.
They do not expect you to have any prior knowledge, so do not worry if you don't.
Modelling practice, general financial terminology, keeping up to date with the news in the industry is somewhere to start if you want to get ahead
