Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Completing tasks such as reconciling lead schedules, casting, tagging, helping produce completed accounts for clients, detailing their SOFP etc. Helping with the completion of audits on site and in office
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

There’s always something new to learn and people around to help with any questions or if I am facing any difficulty. All seniors are easy to talk to and my line manager id easily approachable with any questions I have
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve developed my digital skills a lot especially using Excel, there are many accounting softwares I now know how to navigate which is great as it means I work more efficiently. Also, in terms of articulating myself it’s great as I’ve had loads of opportunities to communicate with clients both in real life and through emails which helps with my confidence.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I’d say it is very well structured considering I didn’t start at the normal start date, they were able to navigate it around for me and sort out my lessons so I’d start my module as early as I could, they also produced a pathway gateway for me on my first day which showed me how long my apprenticeship is expected to take.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is very easy to approach and ask questions to, we often have catch ups every few weeks where I can voice any concerns I have. For example I enquired about prayer rooms in December and a room was delegated as a prayer room 2 months later with frosted glass installed as the door and had a do not disturb sign on the handle for anyone who needs to use it. This was much appreciated
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My provider is Kaplan, they are good with keeping upto date with one file and setting me tasks, we also have meetings to catch up and for her to tell me anything about my qualification that I need to know. They produce books and flashcards which I’m able to use which aids me in my studying.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

A lot of the content I learn is within my job role such as debits and credits so I think it’s helping a lot in that regard
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are always a lot of activities to get into with networking which I am in the email chain for. If anyone is interested we can let HR know and she can organise it for us.

Why?
It’s a very good company in the sense of supporting you as I joined leaving sixth form and didn’t have a lot of skills but in the 6 months I have been here I have learnt a lot

Do their research on the company and what they actually offer you in terms of the qualification
