Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My day-to-day in branch includes meeting and greeting customers, serving customers and helping them find their dream holiday, booking customers holidays or making amendments to their holidays, replying to emails and sending them, going through documents and checking these are correct, restocking the brochure rack or resources such as printer paper, replying to Facebook messages and finding holidays to put on Emplifi and selling customers holiday money.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy meeting new people and booking customers dream holidays, I love sharing the excitement with them and seeing the photos and hearing the stories when they get back. I enjoy being with my colleagues and working together. I also enjoyed training and getting to meet new people as well as the different opportunities

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
My knowledge and skills have improved. My customer service and building rapport with customers has gotten a lot better since I started, now I am able to hold a conversation and find conversation starters. I am also a lot more confident at talking on the phone and going in the bureau to sell currency. My knowledge overall has improved, I am a lot better with airport codes, different destinations and where to go at what time of the year, currencies, popular destinations in our branch, different holiday types and much more. I am also much better at different countries around the world, continents, states and being able to use an atlas.

The structure of the programme is good, spreading out the different things that we need to learn but also giving us the time to learn them in branch too.
